What is the Rotary?
The Erie Rotary Club is dedicated to making a positive impact in the community by engaging with its members, serving its seniors, and supporting its students. These three areas were carefully chosen based on the needs of the community, and our club’s desire to help make a meaningful difference in the lives of those around us.
Engaging in the community is a crucial aspect of Rotary’s mission. Our club is committed to creating meaningful connections with local businesses and organizations, and fostering a sense of belonging and purpose for all members of the community. By building these relationships, we are able to work together to create a more vibrant, thriving community for everyone.
Serving seniors is another important focus of the Erie Rotary Club. Seniors are a valuable and often overlooked segment of the community, and our club is dedicated to ensuring that they are not forgotten. Through programs like Meals on Wheels and other initiatives, we are able to provide essential services and support to seniors, helping them to live healthy, fulfilling lives.
Finally, supporting students is a key focus of our club. Education is a fundamental right for all children, and our club is committed to helping students succeed in school and beyond. By providing resources like scholarships, mentoring programs, and other educational opportunities, we are able to help students achieve their goals and build a brighter future for themselves and their families.
Together, these three areas of focus form the foundation of our club’s mission to make a positive impact in the community. We are proud to be a part of this important work, and we invite you to join us in our efforts to engage in the community, serve seniors, and support students in Erie. Together, we can make a difference!
Engage in the Community
We are community builders! Rotary has been involved in building playgrounds, hosting community events, providing volunteers for races and town events. We are at our best when our members and volunteers are out in the community keeping Erie a special place to live and raise a family.
