Announcing the 2025 David McChesney Memorial High School Scholarship

2025 Scholarship FlyerThe Rotary Club of Erie Colorado is proud to announce the 2025 Academic Scholarship application process is now open through April 8. The David McChesney Memorial Scholarship is an academic scholarship, meaning the Rotary Club of Erie will send the scholarship funds directly to the college the student is enrolled in where it can be applied to tuition, housing while at school, and books.

You must complete the application and send the requested attachment identified below by April 8, 2025 to be considered for the scholarship. We have allocated up to $5,000 towards the scholarship program. The number of scholarships and the amounts will be determined based on the quality of candidates received.

To Qualify:

You must be a graduating senior living in Erie, with plans to attend a university, college, post-secondary institution, or the military. Service based volunteering must be part of your high school experience. A minimum 3.0 cumulative unweighted high school GPA is required. While high school events and group functions are considered, the committee members will place an emphasis on community service that extends beyond the school setting.
