Erie High School Graduation Shuttle Service

Making Graduation Day Accessible and Enjoyable for All

Graduation is a proud and exciting moment for families, friends, and students alike—but with large crowds and limited parking, getting to your seat can be a challenge. That’s where the Erie High School Graduation Shuttle Program steps in.

What We Do

Our volunteer-driven golf cart shuttle service helps guests get from parking areas to the graduation field safely and comfortably. Whether you’re arriving early to save a seat or bringing along a loved one who needs assistance, we’re here to make the journey smoother.

Where to Find Us

Designated pick-up and drop-off points are clearly marked throughout campus, including:

  • Main traffic hub near the field with covered seating

  • Western school lot access

  • General parking lot near the medians

Shuttle volunteers will be on the lookout and ready to assist—just wave us down or wait at one of the shaded pickup areas.

Who This Is For

  • Elderly guests

  • Individuals with mobility concerns

  • Anyone needing a little help getting to or from the ceremony

Cost? It’s Free!

There is no cost for this service. Rides are completely free, and our volunteers are here to serve, not to collect tips. If you’d like to support the program, donation buckets with QR codes will be available, but there is no expectation.

When We’re Operating

  • Before the Ceremony: Shuttles run continuously for 2–3 hours prior to the event.

  • After the Ceremony: A coordinated effort to assist guests as they exit, especially those seated in the covered and handicapped-accessible sections.

A Community Effort

The shuttle service is made possible thanks to volunteers from Erie High School, the Town of Erie, and our Rotary Club partners. It’s a great example of how our community comes together to celebrate and support one another.

We are routinely finding projects that we can lend a hand with and help keep Erie special.
If you want to help out, you can sign up as a volunteer OR join the club as an active member.
