Dolly Parton Imagination Library (DPIL)
Erie is growing, and so is the demand for books...
The Erie Rotary Club is committed to promoting literacy and education in the local community, particularly among young children. One of the ways that we achieve this goal is through our partnership with the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. This program provides free books to children from birth to age five, regardless of their family’s income or background. Our club is proud to support this initiative and to help make a positive impact on the lives of children in our community.
The Dolly Parton Imagination Library is an important program that supports early childhood literacy and helps children develop a love of reading. Each month, participating children receive a new age-appropriate book in the mail, which they can keep and enjoy with their families. This program has been shown to have a positive impact on children’s language and literacy skills, and to encourage a lifelong love of learning.
