Married for 57 years 7 children, 19 grandchildren 4 great-grandchildren. Rotary for 25 years. Have headed up both Imagination library, RYLA, and Computer for kids which we have fixed up and given out over 12000 since we started the program 23 years ago. Have started from scratch 3 different businesses latest being Rocky Mountain Microfilm and Imaging

Kassie Haag is a local business owner of Athletic Adventures, where our philosophy is, we seek to create an enriching and nourishing environment to help the kiddos of our community develop both as athletes and most importantly growing human beings. Our programs will provide the community and support to help the kiddos in our community achieve this balance in their lives. From classes meant to aid in early motor and social skills to more advanced team-building and technical programs, Athletic Adventures is a journey designed to walk with the kiddo in our community as they grow and help them realize their potential in and out of the gym and their adventure beyond.
Leisl Athen
Leisl Athen is a local community member of Firestone. She is a mother of two teenage boys. She first learned about the Dolly Parton Imagination Library as a member of the Rotary Club of Longmont St Vrain about 20 years ago. She was able to enroll both boys when they were born thanks to the Boulder County United Way. She would like to be able to provide this wonderful opportunity to other families. After taking a few years away from Rotary after becoming a mother, Leisl joined the Carbon Valley Rotary in 2012 where she served as club president for two terms. In 2021 she was a charter member of the Rotary Club of the Friendship Knot, an e-Club that focuses on the global scouting movement. She is currently the club president. She looks forward to getting to work with another Rotary Club. Professionally Leisl is a data analyst the enjoys putting data puzzles together. In her free time with her sons driving them around. She volunteers with the Boy Scouts of America organizing events and helping to spread the word about activities for the scouts.
